A friendly athletics club for all abilities — ages 8 to 80+. Training in St Helens every Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Athletics for everyone
We compete in track & field, road running and cross country — with qualified coaches, a welcoming atmosphere, and a proud history stretching back to 1899.
Track & Field
Competing in the Northern Athletics Track & Field League and Merseyside County Championships, with individual and team events for all ages.
Road Running
From local 5Ks to marathons and ultras — members compete individually at events across the region and beyond, with our internal Sutton Road Grand Prix series.
Cross Country
A club strength — Liverpool & District League champions three years running, with teams across all 10 age groups in the Manchester & District League.
Junior Athletes
From age 8 upwards, our junior programme builds technique, fitness and competition experience — Saturday morning sessions, Sportshall in winter, with Track and Field.
Veterans & Masters
An active and competitive masters section — home to European champions and world record holders. Masters athletics has no upper age limit.
Qualified Coaches
All our coaches hold UKA licences and enhanced DBS checks. Small groups mean individual attention — whether you’re a beginner or chasing a PB.
